The Catholic Church in Kuwait, under the auspices of the Apostolic Nunciature, H.E. Eugene Nugent held a Prayer Service for peace in Ukraine on Friday, 25 March at the Holy Family Cathedral in Kuwait City. The prayer service was celebrated in communion with His Holiness Pope Francis and all the Catholic Bishops in the world who, at the same moment, will consecrate Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The special prayer service saw the attendance of several ambassadors, who were present to pray for peace in Ukraine. In his sermon His Grace Archbishop Eugene Nugent sought the end of the war and to bring peace back by overcoming the temptation of hatred and revenge and divisions and the good will to live as brothers.
