The Community Events and Entertainment Culinary Class held its very first formal graduation and food exhibit at the Jarallah Dental Studio in Hawally on Friday.

The event kicked off with a brief food exhibition that showcased dishes by students on the recipes they had learnt during the courses. French, Italian, Arabic and Middle Eastern dishes were properly plated and presented on long tables for visitors to taste. The dishes were prepared by graduates from the International Cuisine 1 course. There were also varieties of cakes, bread, and sweet delicacies on display made and prepared by graduates from the Basic Baking and Pastry Course.

Among those who graduated was the spouse of the Charge D’ affaires of the Philippine Embassy Noor Lomondot, Filipinos from different work sectors and foreign nationals. Nine students also graduated with titles of Chefs Patisserie after completing the full course. Ceremonial placing of toques to the graduates was officiated by Dina Mallak and Jassem Burhama of CEE Network. Entertainment was also provided by Tenor vocalist Jummel Carvajal and hosted by Jnae Nolasco. Certificates were awarded to the graduates and announcements were made to advertise CEE Netwok’s newest course: Caregiver Course and Commercial Baking, which teaches students how to open their own bakeries and coffee shops.
