Chinese Association in Kuwait together with the Chinese community along with foreign friends participated in a conference which resolutely supports the Chinese Government’s ‘One country, Two System’ policy of administering Hong Kong and strongly condemns the atrocious crimes of a few thugs in Hong Kong .
Mr. Xu stressed that there are criminal commotion cases with plenty of witnesses in Hong Kong. Mr. Su stated that British colonized Hong Kong since August 1842 till June 30, 1997, the last governor was Chris Patten, corrected number of laws, which buried many political mines for social problems in Hong Kong after 1997.
It is well known; some country’s government had challenged the sovereignty of China several times in Hong Kong since 2003 and even recently also, he added.
Chairman of the Chinese Association in Kuwait, Mr. Dong pointed out that the Chinese center government adopted a strong and suitable way to settle these problems quickly to ensure security in Hong Kong and restore civilian’s daily life.
Moreover, ‘One country Two System’ means; One Country is the principle. Otherwise, Hong Kong will become ‘Warm bed” for criminal independent struggle but 1.4 billion Chinese and 60 million Chinese Overseas will never agree with insistent demands.
Mr. Faysal and Mr. Yousef, who are Arab friends to the Chinese community expressed that they do understand Chinese feeling. Both showed strongly encouragement to Chinese people for defending Hong Kong’s security and prosperity. The Chinese nation will select their own way to keep peace and develop along with all nations worldwide, which is a new page in 21st century.
In conclusion, the attendees sang ‘My Chinese Heart’ song in a gesture of solidarity, harmony and friendship to their beloved country China.
