Kuwait’s Super Cup game slated between Al-Arabi SC and Kuwait SC for Monday (today) was adjourned as some players were infected with the Covid-19, the Kuwait Football Association (KFA) said on Sunday. The safety of players and the participants in organizing the game tops anything else, Salem Sadoun, KFA’s member of board, said in a statement, adding that another time of the encounter will be set later on.

Earlier in the day, Al-Arabi Club announced on Twitter that 10 of its players, in addition to some technical and administrative officials, were infected with the Covid-19. Besides, some sources at the Kuwait SC declared that two players tested positive for the coronavirus. – KUNA
