The decision to reduce the number of arrivals to the country until February 6 is intended only for arriving passengers and not departures, Al Anbaa daily reported quoting an official source in the General Administration of Civil Aviation

The source told the daily that no change had occurred to the list of banned countries that were prevented from entering the country. The emergence of the mutated Coronavirus has prompted the absence of any change in the list of those countries. It is a proactive precautionary measure to prevent the entry of this new strain into Kuwait.

Sources also pointed out that domestic workers were excluded from the decision to reduce the number of arrivals in the implementation of the return plan. The arriving domestic workers will be subject to institutional quarantine as there are housing designated for domestic workers to quarantine for 14 days.
