The e-stamp machines at the Health Assurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN) malfunctioned recently; causing confusion among visitors, particularly in the registration and issuance of insurance cards for expatriates while a number of transactions concerning expatriates, companies and institutions were delayed, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources.

Sources revealed many people were surprised by the disruption of e-stamp machines at the health insurance centers in Jabriya, Farwaniya and Capital governorates. Sources affirmed the supervisors in these centers contacted the concerned authorities to repair the machines and fill them with stamps, but no action has been taken. Sources pointed out the repeated disruption of such machines and failure to supply them with stamps regularly has prompted the entity that provides health insurance services to submit a complaint to Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Mostafa Redda.
