The Environment Public Authority has announced the launch of a registration platform to request passports for falcons in Kuwait through the official website “epa.org.kw”.
Al-Jarida quoting the EPA said this came in implementation of Kuwait’s commitments towards the CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora) agreement, and to facilitate the process of registering falcons and creating an integrated electronic system linked with veterinary hospitals and executive authorities in the country.
