His Excellency Abdou Lahad Mbacke, Ambassador of Senegal and Dean of The Diplomatic Corps, held a farewell reception for Omani Ambassador Salem bin Suhail Al Mashani at the J W Mariott on October 10.
The reception was attended by several diplomats and media persons. In his address Ambassador Mbacke praised the services of Ambassador Al Mashani, who completed a very successful tenure in Kuwait, consolidated Kuwait- Omani relations and also endeared himself to the diplomatic community here. Ambassador Mashani thanked the gathering for their warmth and friendship and reiterated the support and cooperation he received from Kuwait and all his colleagues during his tenure. A plaque was presented to H E Al Mashani by H E Mbacke on behalf of the diplomatic community. A plaque was also presented by H E AdbulKadir Amin Sheikh, Ambassador of Somalia and Dean of Arab Diplomatic Corp on behalf of the Arab ambassadors.
