H E Sheikh Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Muhammad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs made a phone call today, Tuesday, to Indian Foreign Minister H E Dr. Subramaniam Jay Shankar to show support and solidarity in dealing with the exceptional circumstances due to Coronavirus.
Kuwait foreign minister expressed deep concern and sorrow over the deteriorating health situation in India as the spread of the new mutated strain of Coronavirus, which resulted in a significant increase in the number of deaths and infection rates, expressing sincere condolences for the lives lost.
The Minister stressed Kuwait’s keenness to provide support and to stand with India to overcome this crisis. Kuwait has also sent oxygen and other relief components to India.
