A senior police officer has filed a complaint in Sharq police station against six citizens for attacking and causing him severe body harm. The officer corroborated his story with a medical report showing injuries to various parts of his body.
The officer, a lieutenant-colonel working as an investigator at the Sharq police station, said in his complaint that he was attempting to separate and pacify five men who were found attacking a Kuwaiti, when, instead of obeying his orders, they ganged up and set about beating him up.
The six men gave a different version of the story and they too submitted medical reports showing injuries to their bodies. With both parties accusing each other of causing bodily harm to the other, and no independent witnesses to back up their respective narratives, it looks like the case will take quite a while to reach settlement.
