His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s ascension to power marked a watershed in Kuwait’s history, said Education Minister Dr. Hamid Al-Azmi on Tuesday. Some 13 years after he was sworn in as ruler of Kuwait, His Highness the Amir has risen to undeniable prominence thanks to his infinite wisdom and mental acumen, the minister added.
He alluded to the fact that His Highness the Amir was the first head of state to be honored by the United Nations in a testament to a prolific political career dotted with achievements. The Kuwaiti minister went on to wish His Highness the Amir good health and success as he continues to lead the country on a path towards prosperity.
