ICSK Amman celebrates world postal day

Primary wing of The Indian Community School, Kuwait (ICSK)-Amman organized a special assembly on 9 October to mark the occasion of World Postal Day.

The World Postal Day is celebrated to create awareness of the role played by the postal sector in people’s everyday lives. World Postal Day marks the anniversary of the universal postal union’s establishment in 1874.

Around 150 countries take part in celebrating the ‘World Post Day’ every year.

The students designed a original size post box and it was displayed during the assembly. Principal Rajesh Nair, in his address, expressed his appreciation to the class for reviving the childhood memories of the postman who always brought happiness and hope.
