ICSK Junior holds Investiture ceremony

The newly elected leaders to the student council occurred during a grand investiture ceremony held on 2 May at ICSK Junior. The Chief Guest of the event, Captain Pawan Chaudhary, a highly socialized person working for various organisations, graced the occasion. He is a Port Captain associated with KOC since 1994.

Principal Sherly Dennis welcomed the chief guest, parents, staff and the students to the ceremony. She spoke about the process of electing the senate members. The Principal congratulated the leaders and appreciated their interest in taking up the responsibility.

As part of the program, an invocation dance and song was performed by the students with great enthusiasm. The Royal Senate march was the highlight of the event. The Principal of the School along with the Chief Guest administered badges to the elected Senate members. It was a moment of honor for the students and pride for their parents.

The oath was administered by the Principal as the students pledged to take up their new responsibilities and duties in accordance with the school norms.

The chief guest in his short address extended his best wishes to all the newly invested senate and advised them to become good leaders. He also highlighted the fact that fitness is essential for all. The event ended by the school President Miss Jenessa Amy Mathew, a third generation ICSK’ian from her family, sharing her thoughts for the academic year 2019-2020 with a heartwarming ‘Vote of Thanks’. She also promised to discharge all the duties honestly along with her team.
