Integrated Indian School (IIS) students were inducted into the student cabinet during the Investiture Ceremony on 14 May. The Investiture ceremony is one of the most significant days of a school academic year, as on this day the freshly elected members of the Student Council are officially bestowed with the duties they are expected to fulfill and take up the role of leaders.
The ceremony preceded with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the Kuwait National Anthem. The Chief Guest Dr. S. Chidambaram, Research Scientist, Water Research Center, Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research, graced the event along with Anil Mehrotra, Director of IIS. Principal, Arul Dharmaraj Thomas, felicitated the guests. The student cabinet members marched with great pride and honor, before receiving their badges followed by the oath-taking. Dr. Chidambaram delivered an inspiring address for the students.
