Indian Learners Own Academy (ILOA) organized the Graduation Ceremony for the young and enthusiastic learners of UKG on 21 February. The theme for the 9th Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was ‘Family’, which was a visually enthralling treat for the audience. To add to this, the young graduates, adorned in their Convocation Gowns and caps marked the true spirit of celebration.

Banafsheh Azizi, The Deputy Director of Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital( KACCH), chaired the function and felicitated the children with certificates and gifts.

The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Lalit Agarwal, Group Director FAWAZ , Neelam Agarwal , Senior Play Leader KACCH, Sunil Nanda, Vice- President Almailem Group, Manju Nanda and Mr. Ebrahim, the School Sponsor.

The auspicious lamp lighting ceremony along with the chanting of prayers marked the start to the event. The Vice-Principal Dr.Sheeba Balraj, extended a warm welcome to all present and highlighted the vision of the school and the role of parents and teachers in the students’ learning process.

Our budding anchors took turns to compere the entire show with unabated confidence. They tied up the thread line from one item to the next. The event started with a warm welcome dance by the tiny tots of UKG in three different languages. Each LKG section showcased their dancing skills. The enthusiastic dancers were appreciated with rapturous applause. They kept the audience spellbound as they merrily danced to the foot-tapping and peppy numbers.

Another highlight of the day was the Heartwarming Thank You dance performed by the tiny tots.

The spectacular cultural extravaganza was interlaced with the most important event of the day; the graduation of the UKG students to Grade 1. It was an exciting moment for the parents as the graduating kindergarteners walked the ramp proudly to receive the scrolls of merit from the Chief Guest. The parents indeed felt it was a moment of pride for them as their little ones were going to enter another phase in their life.

While each graduate adorned in their Convocation Gowns and Caps made their way on to the stage, the teachers took a quick minute to share something special about each child, which gave them an opportunity to tell how proud they felt about each of their student. Super achievers of the session were also felicitated for their commendable performance in the year 2018-19.

The Chief Guest commended the school management and teachers for their effort in shaping the young toddlers for a better future.  She especially appreciated the confidence of the tiny tots on stage showing their talent and buoyancy.

The show ended with the vote of thanks. The show was heartwarming and it was a memorable day for the young graduates and parents.
