Government of India has decided to hold a worldwide ‘Know India Programmes’ (KIP) LOGO contest. The guidelines of the KIP LOGO contest are featured. The contest is open to all people of Indian origin (PIOs) irrespective of their age, nationality, or gender. The winner of the contest will be awarded with a prize of a 25-day fully sponsored tour to India as a KIP participant.

The contest starts on 1 September, 2019 and the entries will be accepted till 15 October, 2019. Interested candidates may please go through guidelines and may submit their entries directly to PIC wing of Embassy of India, Kuwait at pic.kuwait@mea.gov.in.

Since 2004, the Government of India has been organizing (KIPs) for the Indian youth diaspora in the age group of 18-30, with an objective to connect them with their motherland and to give them an exposure to various aspects of contemporary India’s Art, Culture and heritage.

The contest aims to promote greater awareness among the PIO youth about KIP (https://kip.gov.in/). The Know India Programme of the Ministry of External Affairs is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth conducted with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information Technology, culture. KIP provide a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with contemporary India.
