INJAZ Kuwait conducted an entrepreneurship master class for the students of class 9 of the Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) Senior on 30 April. Mrs Mussarat, HOD of the Commerce Department, welcomed the students in her address and was followed by Mr. Abdullah, who introduced the students to the world of entrepreneurship and business, and gave them tips to becoming successful entrepreneurs.
Mr. Abdullah asked the children to select their CEOs and create their own hypothetical companies. A total of 12 children were selected as CEOs to represent their own teams. The children were given an hour to start up their own companies which included an attractive logo, company description, benefits of the company and source of profit. The students introduced innovative ideas and spent their 1 hour efficiently under the leadership of their CEOs.
They were given three papers to draw their logos and write down details about their companies. The children brainstormed interesting ideas and created their companies. CEOs were asked to come up to the stage with 4 of their teammates to introduce their new companies to the panel of judges and to the other students present in the auditorium.
All of the 12 CEOs displayed confidence and leadership qualities while presenting their companies. Miss. Rachel’s company ‘Young Trends’ bagged the first position. The second position was secured by Miss. Yukta Menon’s company called ‘Go School’ followed by Master. Sanskar Mishra’s company called ‘Shop Point’, in the third place.
Medals were handed out to the three teams and its teammates by the Vice Principal, Dr. Sam T. Kuruvilla. Mr. Abdullah congratulated all the students who took part in the session and appreciated their efforts. He concluded the session by calling the winners the ‘Champions’ of the day and the other participants the ‘Winners’. As a token of appreciation, two cards were given to Mr. Abdullah and Mrs. Danah.
