Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah discussed cooperation with the head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Kuwait Omar Odah on Thursday .
According to a statement by the Interior Ministry Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah discussed with Odah the most important issues of common concern, and praised the distinguished efforts and the role played by the mission in the field of humanitarian work.
Moreover, the Interior Minister met separately with the head of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Dr. Samer Haddadin and discussed aspects of cooperation and coordination. For his part, Haddadin praised Kuwait’s humanitarian role in various parts of the world. Later in the day, Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah discussed with Croatian Ambassador to Kuwait Amir Muharemi aspects of cooperation related to the security sector, and ways of enhancing cooperation in all security fields.
The statement added that Al-Jarrah discussed at the end of the day with South Korean Ambassador to Kuwait Hong Youngki issues of common concern related to the security aspect, and ways of enhancing cooperation in the fields of exchange of expertise, training and information.
