Jamal Mohammad College, Tiruchirappalli, Alumni Association, Kuwait organized their 22nd Alumni annual meeting on Friday, 29 November in Teachers’ Society Hall, Dasma, Kuwait City.

The event was managed by Alumnus and was well attended by over 500 guests, association members, their families and other dignitaries from the local Indian (Tamil) community.

Ameer Ahamed, Chief Coordinator hosted the event, A. Basheerudeen, President and General Secretary Br. K. Mohamed welcomed the guests and briefed about the college and Alumni Activities. Key note lectures were delivered by the Guests Dr. Aleem, a well-known neurologist from Tiruchirappalli and Mr. P.T.R. Palanivel Thiagarajan, Member of Legislative Assembly, representing Madurai Central constituency, in Tamilnadu.

While Dr. Aleem spoke on the physical and mental well-being of the society, Mr. Thiagarajan, Chief Guest of the evening, spoke on financial well-being of the society. He dwelt in detail on the importance of financial discipline, financial planning and selecting the right type of investment avenues.

Both speakers captivated the audience with facts, figures and anecdotes, to substantiate their point of view and the audience were equally receptive. The association had identified potential rising stars and duly honored them, with certificates of merit.

Program ended with a vote of thanks and a sumptuous dinner for all the attendees.
