The Kuwait Consulate in New York has announced the start of consular services for citizens as of Monday, hoping the opening of the mission would further boost economic, trade and investment relations. Consular General Hamad Al-Hazeem expressed in a statement hopes the opening of the Kuwait Consulate in New York “will promote economic, trade and investment relations between the city, which is considered the world’s economic hub, and the State of Kuwait.” The consulate, he added, would contribute to new horizons in relations and cooperation between Kuwait and the US.

New York City has many investment capabilities and opportunities in different sectors, he said, and the consulate would facilitate communication between Kuwait investors and their
counterparts in the city.

Al-Hazeem hoped the consulate would contribute to the promotion of investment opportunities within New Kuwait Vision 2035, thus honoring His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s vision to transform Kuwait into a financial and commercial hub. He said the consulate, which would be responsible for some 23 eastern states, was ready to serve Kuwaiti citizens.

Consulate will open from Monday to Friday. Working hours are 9-1 and 2-4. The consulate is located in Lotte New York Palace Hotel in Madison Avenue.
