The Kuwaiti Minister of Education Saud Al-Harbi announced on Tuesday the launch of the first phase of an e-learning project. In a press statement, Al-Harbi said that the ministry, in its various sectors, has been working since the beginning of the outbreak of the new coronavirus (Covid 19) to develop proposed solutions to mitigate the consequences of this crisis.

He explained that one of these measures is to introduce the Kuwait educational site and include a variety of previous ministry projects, including the educational channel, educational portal, current interactive books, in addition to the development of new tools and learning resources for the portal, for providing educational guidance, receiving immediate feedback, and setting up virtual classes.

He mentioned that the plan for the e-learning project will achieve community partnership with various government agencies, the private sector and civil society organizations, in addition to allowing educational professionals to participate in making the content of this portal.

Al-Harbi indicated that the ministry is seeking, through the e-learning project, to achieve the goals aimed at providing accredited educational sources in various forms to be used to
