Kuwait government Monday expressed great relief for full recovery of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah following a recent health setback. The government, in its weekly meeting chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, expressed gratitude for citizens who inquired about health condition of His Highness the Amir which reflected the “distinguished relation between the Kuwaiti people and their leadership, and a genuine reflection of the love to His Highness the Amir” among Kuwaiti people.
The cabinet also expressed gratitude for heads of state and senior officials in brotherly and friendly countries for their inquiry about the health condition of His Highness the Amir, Deputy Premier and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh said in a statement. The government, meanwhile, congratulated His Highness the Amir and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah for the advent of the new Hijra Year 1441.
Earlier today, His Highness the Amir received at Bayan Palace His Highness the Crown Prince, National Assembly speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim, His Highness the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, and Minister Al-Saleh. His Highness the Amir also thanked officials and ministers from across the Kuwaiti government and National Assembly for their tremendous concern over his wellbeing.
