The Ministry of Interior declared on Saturday reopening the 7th ring road which was closed due to recent downpours that swamped some roads and formed puddles at various public locations.
The MoI said in a statement that traffic was restored on the main road, in both directions from AlDhahr to AlJahraa. Competent authorities are working relentlessly to remove rainformed puddles and facilitate traffic throughout the country.
Kuwait has recently witnessed heavy rains, unprecedented in the North Gulf country since 50 years ago. Authorities had scrambled into action to minimize damage caused by the torrential rains.
