Kuwait’s State Food and Nutrition Authority on Tuesday recommended banning and unbanning the importation of food products from several countries.

The Authority said the Ministry of Commerce and Industry decided to lift the ban off the importation of all types of meats (fresh and frozen) from Italy due to the end of anthrax disease outbreak.

The ministry also decided to lift the ban off the importation of all meat types (fresh and frozen) and their derivatives, including eggs, from Mexico due to the outbreak of Bird flu (H5N1).
