Kuwait, Netherlands ink aviation cooperation deal

Kuwait and the Netherlands signed on Wednesday in the Hague an accord stipulating cooperation in aviation transports. The agreement was co-signed by Yousef Al-Fozan, Director General of (Kuwait) Civil Aviation, and Jan Hendrik, the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure.

In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Fozan said the accord outlines regulations for operating national aviation companies in the two countries, exchanging transportation rights, facilities and privileges as well as boosting cooperation in aviation security and safety. It has been inked in line with the policy of civil aviation department for cementing relations with friendly countries, opening up new cooperation horizons and linking up Kuwait International Airport with the largest possible networks of international airports.
