Kuwait participates in UN seminar to discuss SDGs

Kuwait’s Supreme Council for Planning and Development organised a discussion forum at the United Nations New York office on Thursday, which delved into means to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.

The need to increase global partnerships for the purpose of invention and applying the basis of behavioural economics in order to best serve policies for integration and empowerment was the focus of these talks.

The talks’ mainly recommended the need to add integration, partnerships and innovation to the list of UN-proposed SDGs. Contributing to the discussions was the SCPD chief Khaled Mahdi and Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences research director Mohammad Al-Ramadan alongside several UN experts.
