Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Thursday reported 7 COVID-19 deaths, and 1,209 infections in the past 24 hours.

The Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that the total fatalities increased to 1,628 and the caseload to 282,981 since the beginning of the pandemic.

He added that the total recoveries have reached 266,917 after 1,387 patients recovered from coronavirus today making the recovery rate 94.32 percent out of the conducted tests.

Moreover, 14,436 patients in total are receiving health care, including 206 at intensive care units, he said.
