Kuwaiti astronomer Adel Al-Saadoun showers of meteors will enter the atmosphere on Thursday, April 22, and will be seen in the Kuwait sky.

Al-Saadoun added to Kuwait News Agency, today, Tuesday, that Lyrid meteors that begin to enter the atmosphere from April 15 to 26 are few in number, would be seen in Kuwait on April 22, and the number of meteors ranges around 15 per hour.

He explained that it was called Lyrid because it was seen outwardly in the northern star group the lyre, in which the bright star, the Eagle, was located.
