Joint military drills are crucial to ensure combat readiness and allow officers the chance to hone their skills, said a Kuwaiti official on Sunday.

Such exercises are also instrumental in developing the military valor needed to preserve the nation’s security, the undersecretary of Kuwait’s National Guard Lieutenant General Abdulrazaq AlRefai said while surveying a joint drill with the British army’s antiterror squad.

He went on to convey the Kuwaiti leadership’s warmest greetings to the participants in the exercise, saying he was apprised of the latest endeavors involving the Kuwaiti and British militaries.
