Landmark Group has announced the reopening of its flagship Centrepoint and Home Centre in Kuwait’s Al Rai following an extensive refurbishment to provide an enhanced offering and delightful shopping experience for customers.

First open in 1996, Centrepoint and Home Centre had become one of the most popular shopping destinations in the country. The refurbishment was aimed at ensuring that customers of now and the future have a truly exceptional shopping environment that meets their aspirations.

Located in Al Rai’s central shopping location, the new store has an area of over 110,000 sq. metres and is spread over three levels. Customers in Kuwait can now shop at the store for their entire family with great choices in Men’s, Women’s & Kid’s fashion, Baby essentials, Make-up, Shoes, Home Décor & Furniture – all in one destination.

There are several new and exciting in-store features, such as the incorporation of enhanced digital and hi-tech LED fittings, a new Centrepoint café shop and a re-worked store façade with eye-catching curb appeal. The store will also provide customers with special offers, including money back, and host influencer engagement programmes as well as interactive in-store events.

Simon Smith, Chief Operating Officer, Centrepoint, said: “We are very excited to re-introduce Kuwait’s flagship Centrepoint and Home Centre store, which brings with it several forward-thinking elements that enhance the shopping experience of our customers. Spread across three levels, the new layout has been designed for easy navigation. Further, the use of smart technology is a transformational step for our business ensuring a seamless customer journey. As a brand that is much loved by families, kids and mothers, we are continuously working to drive convenience and enhance our customer service to ensure that they have an excellent time shopping with us.”

The brand-new Al Rai Centrepoint has a dedicated mother and baby room, the chance to take advantage of a personal shopper as well as the added convenience of carry-to-car service on purchases.

The in-store Home Centre facilities are housed within 50,000 sq ft of shop space, and the store has been thoroughly de-cluttered and replaced with a bright appearance. Interactive digital screens are plotted throughout and bring to life the desired customisation of Home Centre products. This helps customers to determine how the product fits their home.

Further, Home Centre offers affordable apartment packages that are brought together at great value with competitive prices to provide solutions and convenience to young customers and value seekers. The new Home Centre also has anchor rooms and an in-house design studio, which enables customers to interact with the design team, ensuring a bespoke and personally-curated result for the home.

Home to four of the Group’s most loved concepts – Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle and SHOEMART, Centrepoint is a leading family shopping destination in the region. The brand currently operates 144 stores across 7 countries, enjoying exceptional growth in the last few years. To grow its footprint further, the retailer is also planning to open 11 outlets across GCC which is expected to increase its retail space to 6.6million sq ft.
