A technical failure in the main transmission station (Dasman M) caused the electricity to be cut off to Amiri Hospital and some other parts of the Sharq area, Al Rai daily reported.
Health sources revealed to Al-Rai daily that Amiri Hospital was not affected by the power outage, as the alternative generators automatically came on to supply electricity.
