The markets slowly regained the pre-Eid atmosphere, shops witnessed a turnout of buyers racing against time, Al-Rai reported.

With the fears of citizens and residents about the continuation of the curfew or even the imposition of the total curfew during Eid, the hope and happiness for the approaching crescent of the Eid grew stronger, so many families were keen to buy everything new for young and old.

Earlier people used to shop throughout the night but due to partial curfew and the time of breaking the fast, the shopping hours are reduced, as workers in the markets are forced to leave before the time of breaking the fast.

The partial curfew makes it difficult to go to the market because of the crowding and lack of time so many people even prefer shopping online.
