The Ministry of Health has instructed all hospitals to receive and treat all emergency cases that need urgent and rapid medical intervention, even if the patient did not carry “identity proof, Arabic daily Al Anba reported.

This order was passed to all government hospitals in order to preserve the health of patients until the patient’s condition stabilizes, and then identity verification and treatment fees can be collected.

This came after receiving observations from some hospitals stating that ambulances had been brought in by domestic workers without proof of identity and inquiring about the procedure in this situation.

As for the unidentified cases, the Ministry confirmed that all unidentified emergency cases go to the hospital investigator and issue an official report to prove the case, its circumstances and conditions, but after the condition of the patient has stablised.
