The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced that more than two million citizens and residents have activated the Kuwait Mobile ID application, through smart devices, as a digital alternative to the civil ID, Al Qabas daily reported.
PACI is planning to update the Mobile ID application to include the category of children under 5 years, to include all segments of society.
My Identity app currently supports the following versions:
• Android: 8, 9, 10, 11 (Android 7 is not supported anymore)
• iOS: 11, 12, 13, 14
Kuwait Mobile ID recently allowed its services to civil cardholders of Article 20 and the application has also added the details of the COVID-19 vaccination.
