The Philippine Embassy announced in a circular on its official social media accounts that it would resume consular services on Sunday, 20 June 2021. The Embassy would remain close until Thursday, 17 June 2021.

The Embassy advised all affected applicants with confirmed online passport appointments to follow the Embassy’s official website and social media accounts for new advisories. New appointment dates would be published on the Embassy’s Facebook page, so they do not need a new online appointment.

At this time, the Embassy would not release new online passport appointment slots at www.passport.gov.ph.

The services of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Pag-IBIG Fund, and Social Security System (SSS) will also reopen on 20 June 2021.

The embassy operating out of a temporary location in Al Sahel Sports Club has been closed since June 6 following precautionary measures.
