A major traffic accident along the newly opened Al-Jaber Causeway has resulted in serious injuries to seven people.
Five of the injured were rushed to the Sabah Hospital, including a 25-year old Kuwaiti who had to be medically evacuated due to the seriousness of injuries to his head. Two others were taken to Jahra Hospital for further treatment.
The authorities are understood to have initiated an investigation into the circumstances behind the accident.
