A company specializing in the sale of clothes and footwear has been referred to the Commercial Prosecution by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, after inspectors from the ministry found the shop to be selling shoes with images of mosques and the Islamic insignia on it.

In a press briefing, the Hawally branch of the ministry’s Commerce Control Section said that a large quantity of shoes with such images found at the shop were confiscated by the inspectors and the shopkeeper was referred to the authorities for violating trade rules and regulations.
