Madame Hoang Thi Quynh Luu, wife of the ambassador of Vietnam to Kuwait, together with Madame Nguyen Thi Bao Tam, the Minister Counselor at the Vietnam Embassy, hosted a Vietnamese Food Cooking Demonstration on Tuesday, 21 October, at the Wok Hay Restaurant. Wives of several ambassadors to Kuwait, media personnel and other well-wishers attended the event.

Madame Hoang Luu gave a short speech welcoming the participants, and then introduced Madame Nguyen Tam as the chef who would give the cooking demonstration. Madame Nguyen Tam showed the participants the best method for creating the popular Vietnamese dish, Fresh Spring Rolls. The gathering was charmed as Madame Nguyen Tam prepared a traditional Vietnamese dish and explained how to use various flavors and to decorate the plate in the traditional style. After a sumptuous lunch comprising of famous Vietnamese dishes the guests had the opportunity to get acquainted with the culture of Vietnam through a display of goods produced in Vietnam.
