The strategic food reserve in Kuwait is sufficient to tide over six months, assured the Head of Cooperatives Union Mishal Al-Sayer.
Al-Sayer said that the union holds regular meetings related to the emergency plan and strategic food reserves with the cooperative sector at the Social Affairs and Commerce ministries, adding that though some Coops do not have warehouses, they coordinate with other coops for their storage requirements.
