On the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Year, Indian Community School Kuwait (ICSK) conducted an Interschool Table Tennis Tournament on 3 May in the Senior School Auditorium.
Competitions were conducted in four age categories — below the ages 12, 14, 17 and 19, for girls and boys separately. A total of 146 singles and 34 doubles teams from 12 schools registered for the competitions.
The teams were welcomed by ICSK Principal Dr. V. Binumon and the tournament was inaugurated by Honorable Vice Chairman of ICSK, Vinukumar Nair.
All the players participated enthusiastically and displayed the spirit of sportsmanship. Delivering the valedictory speech the Honorary Secretary, Amer Mohammed, congratulated all the winners.
Prizes were distributed in the presence of the HR and Admin Officer, Deepak Kumar Seth. Under the guidance of the Principal and Sports-In-charge, Sherly Dennis, the HOD-PE, Dr. Nins Peter, organized the event which proved to be a grand success.
