Telangana Chaitanya Sravanthi (TCS) Kuwait celebrated their Annual Day  along with Ugadi festival on 18 April, at Fintas Community Hall, in the presence of a large gathering of members, families, friends and well wishers, as well as special invitees.

Chief Guest at the event was J. Ramesh, a well-known singer and mimicry artist, who was flown down from Hyderabad especially for participating in the celebrations marking the 4th anniversary of TCS.

Attache at the Indian Embassy Satish Mahajan, Special Guest J. Ramesh and Dr. Indeevar, from Al Soor Dental Clinic, inaugurated the event by lighting the traditional lamp along with the executive committee members.

The event commenced with a pleasant rendition of a song evoking the blessings of Ganesha by the budding singers Niveditha and Saanvitha. It was followed by the Telangana prayer Song. The compeers Surrender Pachunuri and Sreevani Sripada Rao then gave a brief on the program and made some important announcements.

Vice President of TCS Origanti Ramesh welcomed the honorable guests, sponsors and other attendees and wished them on the occasion of the Ugadi, which is the beginning day of the Telugu New Year.

President of TCS Kondal Reddy then thanked Mr. Ramesh for accepting their invitation to be part of these celebrations. He elaborated on the arduous journey of TCS, that culminated in its present status and requested all the members to come more openly to support the association and be an active member in all its tasks. Finally he thanked the sponsors for their support.

Children then performed various cultural programs including popular songs and dances that entertained the crowd. The chief guest then displayed a superb, hour-long mimicry performance that was very well received by the audience.

Souvenir marking the 4th anniversary of TCS was released by the distinguished guests, sponsors and executive council members and distributed to members and friends.
