Motorists are expected to encounter heavy traffic congestion tomorrow, as thousands of students begin their new school year.

The ministry of interior has announced that it is fully prepared and ready to deal with the increased traffic flow, and to ensure the safety of students and to facilitate traffic flow. The authorities said that traffic lights would also be adjusted to ensure smoother flow as the beginning of the new school year is expected to engender a huge rush.

Several private schools have already started their academic year nearly two weeks ago and there has been a discernible increase in the traffic flow, especially during the morning hours. The Ministry of Education has also expressed its readiness to welcome the new school year, and confirmed that all preparations were complete to receive the students.

Despite the end of the summer holidays, the weather continues to remain hot and is expected to cool-down only in the coming weeks.
