Many people enjoy going out to various parks and public spaces in Kuwait for quality and leisure time. However, the sad fact is that most such areas are littered with trash, and other discarded items that ruin their cleanliness and disrupt the fun for everyone.
Time and again, government entities and organizations have spread Public Service announcements that encourage the populace to throw trash away in designated bins in order to protect the beauty of beaches and parks.
The state also launched the Environmental Police initiative to stop violators from disposing of trash haphazardly in public spaces, but despite all those efforts, some individuals refuse to follow the rules, and see every clean space as a ready garbage bin. Some even spit in public spaces or near garbage bins.
Recently, a German expat was recorded on camera helping a cleaning crew to clean up the beaches as he wants to do his part to preserve the environment for the next generation.
According to him, many people don’t respect the environment or the law, and persist in maintaining the bad habit of throwing their trash anywhere.
