US President Donald Trump will welcome His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to the White House on September 12, the White House said in a statement on Friday.
The visit “will build on the longstanding partnership between the United States and Kuwait and further strengthen our substantial economic and security ties,” according to the statement. It added that “the two leaders are expected to discuss regional developments, bilateral security cooperation, and counter terrorism issues.”
