World Malayalee Council (WMC) Kuwait Province was formed in Kuwait at a meeting held in Sunrise International Hotel Auditorium Mangaf.

The WMC works towards an international brotherhood of Malayalees / people of Kerala origin, to bolster their cultural, artistic and social uniqueness and give resilience and understanding towards other cultures with which they have to co-exist and interact. The organization works with the Malayalee diaspora across the globe.

The World Malayalee Council was formed on 3 July, 1995 in New Jersey, US, as a non-sectarian, non-political community organization providing a global connectivity, fostering friendship and fellowship among Malayalees across the globe, and having several platforms under its umbrella for training, empowerment, service, support and charity.

The main objective of this organization is to provide a non-political forum to bring together the widely scattered community of people of Malayalee / Kerala origin, and strengthen the common bonds of culture, tradition and way of life.

One can imagine the huge potential at the disposal of WMC, when one considers that the council is the largest ethnic organization in the world and is spread across 55 countries.

WMC Global Cabinet has decided to conduct a WMC Family Tour to Thailand from 9 to 13 August, during which the year-long celebrations of WMC Silver Jubilee will be inaugurated in Bangkok, in the presence of members from all world countries.  Global Executive Meeting also will be held on the same day at Bangkok.
